Recipe: Lamington Smoothie

One item in our household that gets used daily is our Nutribullet. We find it the simplest and quickest way to blend up all sorts of smoothies, from virtuous green to creamy chocolate ones. It’s very easy to clean too.

Nutribullet sent us the below recipe that’s tasty and uses some great local NZ brands, so we thought we’d share it with you!

Lamington Smoothie

  • 1 cup Little Island coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup LSA or oats
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 4-6 pitted dates
  • 1/2 a banana (if you’d like your smoothie more on the sweet side)
  • 3-4 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Heilala vanilla
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs (to garnish)

Blend all ingredients (less the garnish) in your NutriBullet. Pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with shredded coconut, cacao nibs or shavings of chocolate. Enjoy!
